This morning in church we sang the beautiful song "10,000 reasons" by Matt Redman
(Click here to hear it on youtube).
The first verse says,
"The sun comes up, it's a new day dawning
It's time to sing Your song again.
Whatever may pass, and whatever lies before me
Let me be singing when the evening comes.
Bless the Lord, O my soul, O my soul, worship His holy name.
Sing like never before, O my soul, I'll worship Your holy name."
The Lord used this song to encourage my heart to not dread and fear the week set before us, but to embrace His new mercies each morning and continue singing His song. "Whatever may pass, whatever lies before me let me be singing when the evening comes."
