She's Losing it!!

...HER HAIR, that is. I read an article online that said hair loss is pretty normal for infants under 6 months. We tried an oil massage this morning to stimulate the hair follicles and hopefully cause some regrowth! She thought it was fun! (As you can see in the picture below!) She kept smiling and laughing at me! Wes was asking me last night if we should change shampoos or wash her hair less often...We are currently washing her hair every other day and using Johnson's Head to Toe.

Has this happened to your kids? Does anyone have any suggestions? Post your comments!

Letting the oil soak in!

Ashley and Amanda! LOOK!
Over spring break Ashley, Amanda and I were discussing baby pictures. This pose is a popular choice among mothers, so it seems. However, Aubri has always refused to hold her head up for a picture...until now! She is joining the club! Ha!

If you need proof of Esther's hair loss, watch the video of your wedding reception or rehearsal. By that time she was 5 months and sporting a balding man's mullet -- she had a ring around the back of her head that was bald first because of the way she rubbed her head when she slept and a full patch of hair beneath it -- quite mullet-like. Once she lost it all, it came back lighter. Who knows what Aubri's will come back as -- lighter? curly?

We only washed hayden's hair once a week. We didn't see a need to do it more because he wasn't get very dirty as a little baby. Baby hair does fall out though. It grows back...that is just how babies are. No need to worry.
